Why does everything at home taste different? Maybe because everything has a drop of mom’s love? Moms add their love, affection, care and thoughts in everything they make, and that is why you cannot find this taste in any other place.
As I was looking through the pictures in folder I came upon these pics and wanted to share them with you. These were taken this summer, at home : ).
Mom cut watermelon for us. I can even smell (in my mind) the aroma of this mellow fruit now.
Mom’s salad with fresh tomatoes and green pepper. Very simple salad yet tastes really nice and fresh.

Salaam alaikum dear darling - it so nice to see your post today because I really miss home, my family especially my mother. YOu know I don't think it is about any single item for me, its just my mothers food to me tastes soo good that I miss it so much. I am never satisfied with my own cooking and when I am home by my mother, I over indulge in any of her cookings because I missed it soo much@

I live in the United Arab Emirates and I am from the southern US and what I miss the most about home is the Mexican food and barbeque (sigh).
