my best friend's poem!

Every time I read her letters I can't read without tears in my eyes. These tears come because of  the sincere love she has for us,  for our sisterhood and friendship. Her letters are full of beneficial knowledge, sound advice, timely  reminders, warm wishes. She is my best friend, my sister in Islam. We spent 4 years in college. When we met, we were sooo different: our tastes in food and clothes were opposite, we differed in our ways of thinking and living our lives, our interests and hobbies were very dissimilar.  Well, we are still very different but now we have the same purpose in our lives, we have our faith, Islam;  we believe and worship One God.
She writes poems. Oh how I wish they were in English! I'm sure, if you could read in original  it would touch your hearts. Her wording is Excellent! Anyways, I'm posting the poem because I know some of my followers know Russian. I tried to translate as much as I could, so other sisters at least could learn what the poem is about. I hope you will like it!

Хвала Аллаху за месяц,

Который Он нам подарил,

И веры прибавил нам в сердце,

И в теле прибавил нам сил,

(She gives praises and thanks to Allaah for Ramadan, and for increasing iman in our hearts, and giving strength in our bodies in this Holy Month)

Хвала Аллаху за сабр

Против страстей и грехов,

За сладкие голод и жажду,

За чистый желудок и кровь.

(Praise and thanks be to Allaah for granting us patience against temptations and sins,

for the sweet hunger and thirst,
and for purifying our bodies(stomach and blood)

Хвала Аллаху за счастье

Стоянья пред ним по ночам,

За искренность в наших молитвах,

За то, что ответил Он нам.


(Praise and thanks be to Allaah for the happiness we feel while standing in front of Him in prayer at nights,
for the sincerity in our supplications, for answering our duas)

Хвала Аллаху за страх,

Который от смут уберег,

За Праведный путь с Его светом,

Спасенье от ложных дорог.


(Praise and thanks be to Allaah for the fear of failing,
 for the Righteous Guidance with His Light
 that saved us from wrong paths)

Хвала лишь Ему за Коран –

Хидая для нас и леченье,

За помощь учить по утрам

Его с таким наслажденьем!

Хвала Аллаху за саадака,

Которое щедро даем,

Стремясь к его Лику и Раю,

Ему лишь такбир воздаем!


(Praise and thanks be Only to Him for the Qur'an- a guidance for us and cure,
 for the strength He gives us to learn it with pleasure at dawn! 
Praise and thanks be to Allaah for the charity we generously give
 in hope to see His Face , in hope to reach the Jannah,
 And to him we say takbir!

Хвала Аллаху за радость быть с теми,

Кого Он взлюбил,

За барака в наших собраньях,

И знанье, что нам Он открыл.


(Praise and thanks be to Allaah for the happiness of being together
 with those whom He loves,
for the baraka in our gatherings, 
for the knowledge that He openly gives)
